Not to be cliché or anything but, YES my meeting notes are more often doodles than notes. I have numerous sketchbooks filled with little characters and scribbles (a lot of scribbles). Lately, with always needing a reason to warrant spending time on a project (ie work, aka getting paid), I have been having a serious desire to get back to that childlike state of drawing … just because. For the hell of it. Because it feels good.
These are some of the results of that. This year without setting out to do so, I have started a little collection made up of sketches, vector art, watercolor, acrylic paint on canvas and photo mashups.
Last Christmas I received a Wacom Bamboo. It has opened doors as to what I can do as an illustrator, ahem, doodler. Vector doodles? ARE YOU KIDDING ME?
If you are keen to this sort of thing, you would have noticed the square format of images above. “Instagram?” you may be thinking to yourself. Why yes of course! You can find me @stephdillon31
Also, a few of these are available in my shop as prints, tees, iphone cases, and other fun stuff. I have been receiving lots of pictures of peeps on Instagram wearing my designs and posting their print purchases. It fills me with so much gratitude for all of the support. Thank you!
